PROGRAMME 1 DAY 2008
H. 8,10 p.m.: Arrival at the city of Sirmione del Garda
by your selves. Sirmione is a characteristic village situated
on a wide peninsula enclosed by the Lake Garda water.
It is well-known for its roman historical centre, later
embellished during the Della Scala period.
You can admire the Castello Scaligero di Sirmione
and the Terme di Sirmione,
used already since the roman age.
H. 8.20 a.m.: Meeting with the tourist guide and visit of the historical centre of Sirmione.
H. 9,00 a.m.: You will take the tourist train (€ 1,00 per person) to go at the Grotte di Catullo,
wonderful roman villa on the top of the Sirmione peninsula. Visit at the Villa di Catullo
and return with the train at the historical centre of Sirmione.
H. 10,45 a.m.: Greeting to the tourist guide.
H. 11,00 a.m.: Embarkation on the reserved motorboat at Piazzale Carducci.
Start of the panoramic cruising in the direction of the city of Salò, going through
the Rocca di Manerba, the Island of the Rabbit (Isola dei Conigli o Isola di
San Biagio) and Garda Island also known as Borghese Cavazza Island.
H. 12,30 p.m.: Arrival at the city of Salò. Walk along the lake bank to go at the
restaurant in the centre city.

Fixed menu for the group
Hors d’oeuvre: little basket of mushrooms, Malaga cheese and local salami with
sweet-and-sour vegetables.
Main course: Lasagne with Italian blue cheese and leek and “Ravioloni della casa
di magro” with butter and sage.
Second course: Entrecote of Angus (a type of red meat) with grilled pineapple.
Vegetables: Salad and potatoes
Fruit salad.
Drinks: Water, wine and coffee.

H. 2,45 p.m.: Embarkation on the bus to Gardone for a free visit at the Vittoriale,
monumental complex with park, and the Gabriele d’Annunzio Museum
(alternatively, you can stay at Gardone).
H. 5,00 p.m.: End of our service and return by yourselves at the departure locations.
You can decide to go back or to make a walk at the village of Toscolano Maderno,
10 minutes by bus from Gardone.

The price includes: Guided tour of Sirmione, Panoramic cruising from Sirmione to

The price does not include: Entry at the Grotte di Catullo (€ 4,00 per person, over 65
years old free), entry at the Vittoriale (from 7,00 to 16,00€ depending on the type of the visit),
the transfer by bus, bus fee, personal extras and any other service not mentioned in the
